About My Photography

Many years as an aspiring amateur photographer have brought me to this point today..........an aspiring amateur photographer. I have been and still am, inspired by the amazing scenery of this region of the world where I live, the American Southwest. As an amateur photographer, I'm interested in all photographic forms, though I'm really only accomplished at one.....landscape photography. The reason for such tunnel vision is that it is what interests me first and foremost. I still find myself elevated to a new place every time I stand before a beautiful natural landscape. Though the final result is my ultimate goal, rewards are found all along the way. Perhaps more so with landscape photography than in any other photographic form.

My current equipment consists of a Canon EOS3, Canon A2E,  28-105mm and 100-300mm lenses, and a Bogen tripod with a Kirk BH3 ballhead. Images are scanned using a Polaroid SprintScan 4000 film scanner and optimized using Photoshop 7.

The net result is a collection which includes images of places that I think are beautiful beyond compare. Hope I've been successful in conveying some of that beauty in my photos.
